Season 2 of the anime premieres on October 4, 2026

Following the announcement made at AnimeJapan 2026, it's now confirmed: season 2 of the Reincarnated as a Sword anime (Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita) will begin airing on October 4, 2026, almost exactly four years after season 1 premiered in October 2022.

This new season is directed by Shinji Ishihira (director of TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy-) at studio C2C, with Takahiro Nagano handling series composition, Atsuki Saito on character design, and Yasuharu Takanashi composing the music. The series will continue to stream internationally on HIDIVE.

The key visual unveiled for the occasion confirms the return of Fran and Sensei for new adventures, with an announced run of 12 episodes, mirroring the first season.
